Numb is the word for me right now. Like so many, Patrick brought so much to me business-wise, in a way that was direct but fair, and always got me thinking deeper, including keeping my feet more on the ground than I thought they should be. Never giving in, and always positive in the face of adversity, Patrick inspired me to stop being a whinger. This was brought home to me when he took me up to his beloved Old Trafford in January 2020, when he was clearly in pain - he didn't complain at all, just got on with it. And he came further alive each time that Man U hit one of their 4-0 goals against us (Norwich), finding a way to tease me further on each goal. Some people leave a deep impression on others. Patrick is one of those and I feel privileged to have known him both as a friend and via work. His legacy of mindset will live on. Andy
