My sincere condolances to all of you. I have got to know Patrick when I changed my career from Trading to HR at Wilmar. He had a good connection with ADM, which is one of the JV partners in Olenex and Wilmar is the other one. Together we have set up a training program for both Olenex and Wilmar. We had good fun and I remember our stay in Manchester to brainstorm on the program and to watch Manchester United playing against FC Midtjylland. He also managed to get us (me and my 3 sons) tickets for ManUnited vs Feyenoord, which we picked up at his house in Canterbury on our way to Manchester. It was always fun talking to him from the first time we met in Schiedam till the last contacts we had a while ago. Good conversations and most of the time about football and golf. We once played a round on a course near Rotterdam and the planning was to do more rounds. Unfortunately it came much too early to an end. He couldn't win this battle. I am going to miss him, but I am greatful for all the good advices and the time we were able to spend together . Malcolm
